Request for Participation: As of now we have about 20 musicians. We are actively seeking more... The score requires that you play a sustaining instrument (able to sustain for some 30-60 seconds). And that you be able to play some of the available pitches (the harmonic series based on a double bass F) at the appropriate cent deviations (with a tolerance of + or - 5 cents). A tuner would be very helpful in this endeavor (if you're playing an acoustic instrument). Of course, laptops and ebowed guitars are welcome.
What to bring: Aside from yourself and your instrument, bring a chair and a light source (battery powered). Though, there's a fair amount of ambient light. We will make larger and darker a copy of the score with just the pitches, which will probably be readable by most people with the available light. Also, you might want to bring some food and drink, since we'll be there for a while. Water will be provided.
Electricity: There is some electricity available, but not a lot (about 20 amps) so try to be as contained as possible. Please let me know if you'll need some, and about how much amperage you'll be drawing. There are two more plugs available (L520P 20A 125V) but we'd need a converter, does anyone have one?
Please be aware that this is a raw construction site and take care not to get injured, as this is an extraordinary act of generosity by the construction management!
